- The therapist will want to discuss your symptoms with you prior to confirming your appointment to ensure what is being requested is appropriate. In rare cases, physician approval may be necessary.

- You will want to avoid consuming a heavy meal or alcohol prior to and immediately following your massage.
- When possible, shower before your appointment to help relax your muscles. Ladies, you may want to refrain from shaving your legs a few hours prior.
- A standard table session involves the use of draping. There are occasions when you may be asked to bring or wear athletic clothing for a session - the therapist will advise you when confirming your appointment.
- If you need to reschedule, contact the office immediately. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.
- Payment is expected at the time of visit. CASH & CHECK are gladly accepted as are most major credit cards.
What to Expect during Your First Visit... Meeting with Your Therapist - Arrive 10 minutes early to register OR print, complete, and arrive with this [MEDICAL HISTORY FORM].
- When you arrive, expect to be greeted by your Massage Therapist who will review your medical history, assess your symptoms, discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
- You will be directed to the massage room and provided further instructions. Transition to the massage table takes place once the therapist has left the room.
- Prior to reentering, the therapist will ensure you are ready.
During Your Massage- Feedback is encouraged, especially during your first massage. If you feel the massage is not meeting your expectations, please advise your therapist immediately so adjustments can be made. Client communication is a key component to the most comfortable and effective massage.
- At the conclusion of your session, the therapist will provide additional instruction prior to exiting the room.
After Your Massage- You will collect your belongings, exit the massage room and stop at the desk.
- If there aren't any additional questions or concerns; the therapist will process your bill, discuss your recommended wellness plan and set-up a time for your next visit.
