Hello
I'm Pamela Murgo and thank you for your interest in my practice! I welcome you to take this opportunity to learn a little about me as well. My professional experience, prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, includes 7 years in Physical Therapy, 3 years in Nursing, and 10 years in Managed Care.
I graduated from the extended program at the prestigious Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. During my educational journey, I discovered my incredible passion and talent for bodywork. I've experienced first-hand its many benefits - I've been receiving Therapeutic Massage on a regular basis for years and I highly recommend it!
Having "private practice" in the forefront of my mind, I secured many wonderful mentors and clinical experiences in which to craft my style. An abundance of hours, beyond my educational requirement were spent interning with...
• A Community Wellness Clinic
• A Physical Therapy Practice
• A Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Clinic
• A Wellness Center
• Colleges - addressing Competitive Division I & II Athletic Injuries
• Independent Offices addressing Licensed Massage Therapists' Injuries
• A Privately Owned & Operated Massage Therapy Practice
• A Cancer Center
• A Community Hospital
• A Medical Center sponsored Cancer Walk
• A Veterans Shelter
These days, I often say "I don't "work", I help relieve aches & pains one client at a time!" My outstanding education coupled with everyday experiences continues to fuel my passion & talent. I'm fascinated by the effects of massage, especially when addressing myofascial, medical and orthopedic restrictions.
A forever student, I continue to embrace new techniques. Below are a number of continuing education courses I've enjoyed, a list of those in which I'm affiliated, and my credentials. It's my hope, that I was able to provide you with the comfort of knowing me a little better.
Feel free to contact me with any questions and I look forward to working with you very soon.
All the best,
Pamela
